Octagonal Blender

Due to their shape, Octagonal Blenders are able to process a large volume of material in a relatively less space. The blending takes place at slow speeds and so they are suitable for the gentle blending of dry powder. Baffles are provided in the centre of the blender. The power consumption of an Octagonal Blender is also comparatively less than those of other blenders.

Capacities available are from 20 litres to 6000 litres.

V Blender

A V Blender is made of two hollow cylindrical shells joined at an angle of 70° to 90°. As the blender rotates, the material inside repeatedly splits and recombines due to random free fall inside of the shells. It allows for easy charging and discharging and is suitable for fragile materials.

Double Cone Blender

The shell of a Double Cone Blender is essentially two cones joined to a short cylindrical shell on either side. It is a tumbler type blender that uses relatively little head space and provides high mobility of material particles without the use of a baffle.

Features

  • Speed of the blender/s can be varied with the help of an AC drive.
  • Baffle (for the Octagonal Blender and Double Cone Blender) helps to increase the blending by breaking up the flow of powder as the blender rotates.
  • A safety guard is provided to prevent entry of persons during operation of the blender.

Options

  • Bins/IPCs can be provided through which powder can be manually charged inside the blender.
  • The blender can be designed for vacuum and be provided with a charging system having a vacuum pump, a cyclone separator and hoses. The powder can be charged inside the blender without physical contact.
  • Alternatively, a Powder Transfer System can be given.
  • PLC and HMI can be provided to incorporate automation leading to a more efficient and safe operation.
  • CIP modules can be provided to allow easy cleaning of the blender without the need for major assembly or disassembly.

Intermediate Product Container (IPC)

An Intermediate Product Container is a re usable container used to store or transport powders or granules.

They can be used to feed powders into a blender or receive finished blended powders from a blender. They can also be stacked on top of each other over a pallet so that they can be transported using a forklift or pallet jack.


Our IPCs are fabricated from SS 316 / 316 L and highly polished with no dead pockets to allow easy flow of powder.

Starch Paste Kettle

The Starch Paste Kettle is an equipment designed for the preparation of binder material, used in manufacturing process for granules. It has a semi hemispherical bowl which is heated through steam or electrical heaters. The bowl can be manually tilted to let out the material once the preparation is finished. A motor driven stirrer can be provided to mix the product.
